Jeff's Gym

Last night was Taco Tuesday at Filibertos. Let me tell you how much our family loves Taco Tuesday. So there I am, eating my lovely tacos and watching the Biggest Loser. Suddenly I feel very hefty. So I put the taco down and decided to instigate Jeff's Gym. Jeff works out with a personal trainer twice a week and then writes down everything they did and comes home and teaches me how to do it. So I got to work out. The warm up almost killed me. Needless to say, i feel good about myself. But I am scared for tonights workout.

Tamales for lunch. Two of them.
Dinner? WHo knows.
Peace out.

Don't get too excited...

Tonight I threw my big plan out into the dumpster of the night. (so to speak). I ate taco bell and then went to Chillies with another couple. PORTION CONTROL PEOPLE. I told you I exercised. I didn't. But I do have a double ear infection. It seems that when I get stressed out, I eat. And my kids stressed me out tonight. Another successful mission. Another totally disapointing evening. Someday I will tell you of my covert-ops missions. For now, let's just say I hate them when they are successful. Cause then I start eating. Oh the woes of teens. Time to re-group again. Time to re-dedicate myself.
What would I do for a Klondike bar? You don't want to know.......

day 4

Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast with apple sauce. 3 points
Lunch: Can of soup, Chicken fajita soup with a little sour cream and baked chips 6 points
Snack: A small slice of Deanna's banana bread 3 points
Dinner: Sweat and sour pork with a 1/2 cup of pork 14 points
26 points

Still haven't had a soda. Its been hard but I'm drinking lots of water and crystal light.

Does shoveling ice and snow count as a workout?

Amy you are doing so good. Wished I was there with you to workout in Jeff's gym.

we can do this

its that time again. i diet a lot but i always find a way to fall off the wagon but this time its going to be different because i have the help from two hot ladies who are willing to do this with me. i know we can do this.

i started weight watchers on Tuesday. my goal for now is 50 pounds.

Breakfast: two pieces of toast with apple sauce 3 points
Snack: fiber bar 2 points
Lunch: ham sandwich with lots of veggie 5 points
Snack: Apple 1 point
Dinner: Manacotti, which i can't spell or say but i made it all light. Side salad and bread 15 points
25 points for the day.

My big thing i'm letting go is soda. No diet soda either. Which has been the hardest thing for me so far but i'm so surprised that i haven't had a caffeine headache.

Wish me luck tomorrow.

In the Beginning......

In the beginning there was food, and the food was good. In fact, it was too good. So good in fact, that somehow, somewhere, food became a substitution for fun. For comfort. For just about anything. It got out of control and before we knew it, it was time to take control. Time to get back to basics. Time to say, "that as we were each other's witnesses, we would never be hungry again!" (Gone with the wind). Just kidding. Let's not get carried away, be realistic and all that crap that comes with re-gaining control of ourselves. Time to jump on the band wagon, take the dog for a walk, take a pill and lock the hostess extravaganza in the pantry. Or in my case, just throw it away. It's too tempting to even buy it at all. Let's admit what our weaknesses are:

Mine: Doughnuts or anything hostess related.

Peace out! Amy
